Welcome to the Angry Mama Podcast!

I remember bringing my first child home and swearing I would not repeat the mistakes my parents made. I remember promising I would never get angry at my child, and if I did, I would never lose my temper. I promised myself my beautiful child would always feel loved and secure in that feeling. And... then... reality... hit. And that's why this podcast. I'm on the other side of parenting now. My kids are grown. And I have regrets because I didn't understand then in their little years anger and frustration. If I'd understood then what I know now from my master's research and time in the parenting troughs, oh, my. So now, I want to bring you the latest research on emotions as a mama, how to understand them as a mom, and actually use emotions for good as a parent. I'll bring in interviews from time to time and even God's word. Because it's all so cool. So, yah, I had some wobbles in my parenting journey. Some I'll share and it's all here for you so that YOU can be wiser than I was when I first started out on my starry-eyed dream of mommyhood and loving my children. Because here's the truth: Our children need us. And life really does get better BECAUSE our children are in it. And we all together deserve the JOY that ONLY family life well-lived can bring. So now that I'm on the other side, I can see: parenting is worth it. IT REALLY IS WORTH IT, all of it. So, what’d’ya say. Let's get started building family FUN BY understanding anger and parenting and frustration. Because the journey to joy in the midst of it all is so worth it. And besides, parenting goes too fast. Before we know it, we blink, our opportunities with our young children are gone. So yes, my goal for this podcast is to share science based research how to experience happy memories and years of laughter in the face of parenting frustrations. Yep, because anger is real, we talk about it, and what to do with it to bless the lives of others. Bless you for being here.
